Tom Taylor - Deputy Director for DBT Wales, Department for Business and Trade
Tom has fifteen years’ experience as a civil servant in Wales working for the Welsh and UK Governments and is currently the Deputy Director of DBT Wales. Tom previously led sustainable development legislation, the establishment of a new tax function and the contact tracing programme during the Covid-19 pandemic. He has graduated with an MSc in Public Leadership and is a fluent Welsh speaker. He lists his greatest achievements as occasionally keeping up with his five-year-old daughter, completing scenic triathlons and appearing twice in the South Korean media.
