
Aled Miles - CEO of Intellistack & Welsh Government's Envoy to the United States
Born in Wales and based in California since 2006, Aled Miles serves as Chief Executive Officer of Intellistack, a global technology company delivering AI-enabled process automation across sectors including healthcare, government, and finance. In 2020, he was appointed Welsh Government Envoy to the United States, supporting trade, investment, and cultural collaboration between Wales and North America.
He was employed for 20 years of his career at the $26BN+ (market cap) public company Symantec, where in his final three years, he served on the executive committee with P&L responsibility for the $2.2BN Norton software business and a directorate of over 2,500 employees. He’s lived on 3 continents, traded in all major geographic markets, and maintains an extensive commercial & political global network.
Beyond the technology sector, Aled maintains a long-standing commitment to the arts and to Wales. He recently completed a six-year term on the board of the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama, under the presidency of H.R.H. King Charles III. Earlier in his career, as CEO of Cineflex in Los Angeles, he led an exclusive partnership with the BBC to film Planet Earth and Frozen Planet, which received a technical Emmy Award.
In addition to his work with Intellistack, Aled serves on the board of Lixa, a company focused on combating global antimicrobial resistance (AMR).
He returns as Chair of Wales Tech Week 2025, continuing his support for Wales’ growing role in global technology and innovation.
