What is Wales Tech Week?
Wales Tech Week is where Tech meets opportunity.
After the success of 2020 and 2021, which were virtual, Wales Tech Week 2023 will be in-person as a hybrid event for the first time.
It will be an international Tech Summit bringing together the global tech community to connect, collaborate and do business.
Boasting world class speakers, insights, exhibitions and more from global tech leaders, investors, innovators, entrepreneurs and the supporting Welsh tech ecosystem, this hybrid Tech Summit will be a hands-on, interactive experience packed full of knowledge, inspiration and connection.
Who is Wales Tech Week for?
Wales Tech Week 2023 has been created as a diverse, inclusive and sustainable summit to connect and create opportunities for some of the most innovative, creative and forward-thinking people and businesses in Tech.
It is for:
- Tech organisations and businesses creating, developing, and researching technologies to build awareness, network, do business, and learn about the support in Wales
- Those who use tech or want to use tech in their business or organisation, to learn how tech helps you stay competitive, improve your bottom line, connect with suppliers, and learn about support in Wales to innovate
- Investors, to discover the breadth of the opportunities in tech in Wales
- Techies, to build on your technical know-how, network, and discover trends
And on Wednesday 22 March, Wales Tech Week will be all about Talent4Tech, which is for the tech curious to discover careers in tech.
This is an international, hybrid tech conference to bring the tech ecosystem – makers, founders, users, fans, talent, and investors – in one space.

To support the exciting startup community in Wales, we are looking for 23 tech startups to Exhibit in 2023 at a special rate of just £250 ex VAT. This includes space in the ICC as well as the virtual exhibition. | As part of Wales Tech Week 2023’s hybrid event, the Pitch Platform will host Pitch sessions throughout the Tech Summit for attendees to discover incredible products, services, apps, and more from the Welsh tech ecosystem. Talent4Tech – Where Tech talent meets Opportunity
Wales Tech Week 2023 will feature the first Talent4Tech day, an immersive, informative, and inspiring event to attract the next generation of talent required to meet the exponential demand for tech-capable people.
Talent4Tech will be exclusively in-person at the ICC Wales on 22 March 2023. The doors will be open to the “Tech Curious” – Year 10, school leavers, apprentices, graduates, returners and transitioning workers – to showcase opportunities across the Welsh tech industry. At Talent4Tech you’ll find the connections, opportunities, and information you need to plan, start, and succeed in your tech career in Wales.
