Alice Shields

Alice Shields was born in Wales and is a fluent Welsh speaker. After qualifying and working as a primary school teacher, Alice made a career change in 2023 into consultancy within the construction industry. Since then, she has taken on the role of director and owner, successfully running two businesses – Volos, specialising in highway design engineering, project management and quantity surveying, and eeziQS, a pioneering digital platform that automates cost estimating from CAD files. Passionate about challenges, learning, and innovation, Alice thrives on creating solutions that drive efficiency and add real value to clients and the wider industry.
