Richard is Head of Trade at the Welsh Government leading a team working Pan Wales with businesses across multiple channels to develop a strong sustainable exporting sector. He is responsible for delivery of the Export Action Plan for Wales, overseeing Welsh Government programmes to inspire exporters, build capability and support businesses in Wales to trade internationally. As part of the team Richard has recently led Welsh Government trade missions to Japan, EU, GCC region and North America supporting Welsh businesses to access and win business. Previously Head of Relationship Management at Welsh Government covering south west and Mid Wales, Richard is a Member of the Chartered Institute for Export and International Trade and the Welsh Government representative on the Kings Award for International Trade judging panel.
