Andy has 30 years experience in policy and practice in economic development, spanning academia, national politics, and the public and private sectors. He specialises in funding and consenting major infrastructure projects across the energy and transport sectors, including nuclear, hydrogen and wind projects as well as airports, ports, road and rail schemes.
He has led the Anglesey Freeport since 2023, guiding it through the approvals process from the UK and Welsh Governments and its transition into the operational phase where it seeks investment in a range of low carbon technologies and data/AI.
