Andy Morgan

Andy is an experienced executive who for over 25yrs has worked in the Defence and Aerospace industry in various, Finance and Commercial board roles. His corporate career includes Airbus Group, BAE Systems

and Cobham.

Andy joined EADS (Airbus Group) in 2003 as CFO of EADS Operations & Services UK, working on PFI programmes in the UK including FSTA. In 2008 he became CFO and Head of Corporate Operations of Airbus Group UK, with a wider responsibility for the strategic engagement with UK government departments, including the MoD. He worked with Welsh Government to establish a joint foundation for research in Wales (Endeavr), and represented Airbus Group on various Trade Association boards, including the ADS Security Board, and the ADS Council in the UK. He was also a Trustee for the pension scheme set up for ex MoD personnel.

Andy has a strong track record in the UAS sector, including large programmes in Cobham and Airbus, coupled with more recent work for Ordnance Survey, leading their Astigan venture (as CEO). At Auriga Aerospace he currently supports a variety of UAS/HAPS programmes, including UK CAA trials in non-segregated airspace.

He is a director of Microlink Devices (aerospace solar cell manufacturer), in the UK and a board member/advisor for several technology based SME’s.

He has experience of operating in the Middle East, Far East and India.

Andy has a degree (BSc Hons) in Information Systems Management, and is a CIMA qualified accountant. Andy is married with two children, and in his spare time enjoys music, skiing, and motorsport.
