Brandon Jones

Brandon Jones is the Skills Manager for CSconnected, the world’s first Compound Semiconductor Cluster. In this role, he leads on developing and delivering programmes that connect education with industry, ensuring South Wales builds the skilled workforce needed for one of the UK’s fastest-growing technology sectors.

With a background in further education and workforce development, Brandon works closely with schools, colleges, universities, and training providers to create clear pathways into high-value careers. He has been instrumental in launching initiatives such as Sparking STEM Futures – a region-wide programme that has already engaged thousands of learners and teachers across South Wales.

At CSconnected, Brandon also collaborates with industry partners helping shape training provision, qualifications, and outreach activity to support both current and future skills demand.

Passionate about widening participation in STEM, Brandon is committed to inspiring young people to explore careers in advanced technologies, while ensuring the region’s workforce is equipped to drive innovation and growth in the Compound Semiconductor sector.
