Dr Jon Blackburn - Deputy Chief Technology Officer, HVM Catapult
As Deputy Chief Technology Officer, Jon focuses on strengthening the HVM Catapult technology community and implementing the technology strategy. He helps to advance the network’s collective technical credibility and thought leadership within the technology space. Before joining HVM Catapult, Jon worked at TWI Ltd, with 15+ years’ experience in the research and technology environments of advanced manufacturing, materials and structural integrity across a diverse range of sectors. He has a track record in developing and implementing strategic technology and business plans, establishing high-value business and government relationships, and leading teams to develop new capabilities. Jon joined HVM Catapult in April 2024.
