Dr Lucy Sykes

Lucy is the co-founder and CEO of MeOmics Precision Medicine, a company bringing together stem cell science and AI to create new ways of understanding and treating severe mental illness. She holds a PhD in neuroscience from Cardiff University and previously worked within the Welsh Government providing evidence for policy, giving her a unique perspective on how research, policy and industry can come together to deliver impact. Lucy is passionate about turning complex science into real-world solutions to improve people’s lives. She works closely with partners across healthcare, academia and technology to push the boundaries of what’s possible, with the aim of delivering precision medicine for psychiatry.
