Tom has a background in physics, engineering and interdisciplinary innovation – working on funding and delivery of R&D projects spanning space, medical and climate technologies. Since 2024 he has worked on Smart Local Energy Systems for Challoch Energy, linking community-owned renewables with local energy consumers.
