Gemma Casey

Gemma is editor of independent media and communications firm Business News Wales. She started her career in journalism on local newspapers and was Wales editor at the Press Association before joining BBC Wales, where she worked in radio and TV news and current affairs. She then led a pilot programme in hyperlocal broadcasting which set out to test how the medium could support local SMEs. She also spent a decade at a major high street bank, looking after regional PR as well as hosting events for businesses of all sizes and in all sectors.
