Jacob Willemsen

Jacob has a MS degree in International Economics from the University of Amsterdam. After working for the Consulate General of the Netherlands in New York until 2001, Jacob started his own consulting company in New York that evolved into TABS in 2010. As founder of TABS, Jacob has since then assisted more than 750 European companies with financial and administrative matters for their transatlantic start-up in the US.

TABS assists many European companies with their back-office needs in the United States, offering HR support, payroll administration, company formation; corporate governance, bookkeeping support, tax support and more. Relying on decades of knowledge and first-hand experience, TABS assists clients from offices in New York, Houston and the Netherlands. Furthermore, Jacob has taken several board positions in the private and non-governmental sector, among others in the United Nations Association New York, International Commerce Club of New Jersey, European Procurement Forum (EUPF), National Export Council (NEXCO), NAFBiz New York, and the Netherlands American Business Council.
