James Cameron Adams

James Adams is the founder of Maconda Solutions, a London based circular economy consultancy. A specialist in the use of Material Passports, he pioneered the UK’s first Material Passport pilot on the One Nine Elms scheme in partnership with global builder Multiplex.

James passion is to develop the practices and processes needed to implement circular economy across the built environment in both commercial and residential projects. He is working closely with local governments to scale reuse in as part of London’s ROMULUS Reuse Initiative.

James specialises in policy development and collaborates with academic partners. He has co-authored several papers and policy documents detailing the relationship between construction processes and digital capabilities in supporting circular economy implementation.
