Jinel Fourie

Jinel Fourie is a strategic public affairs leader specialising in the intersection of transformative technologies and societal needs. As Director of Public Policy, EMEA at Vantage Data Centers, she established and now leads the region’s policy and community engagement function – helping advance the expansion of hyperscale AI and cloud infrastructure across EMEA. Her portfolio spans energy and grid reform, digital and AI sovereignty, and high-impact government and community partnerships. Before joining Vantage, Jinel led several strategic functions at a globally leading micromobility operator, where she supported the business’ rapid global expansion and strengthened the company’s leadership in sustainable urban mobility. Her early career spanned a range of areas from African governance and diplomacy, international policy research, intellectual property, and international customer account management. Originally from South Africa, having lived in Mexico and now based in Berlin, Germany; Jinél brings a wealth of international experience and perspective that she now applies to building the bridges between public and private sector actors to leverage the potential of transformative technologies for the greater good.
