Matthew Baynes

Matthew Baynes serves as the Vice President, Strategic Partners for the Cloud and Service Provider Segment of Schneider Electric. As a Board Member of the European Data Centre Association (EUDCA) and the Net Zero Innovation Hub Matthew is dedicated to helping cloud, hyperscale and colocation service providers design, build and operate sustainable digital infrastructure. Matthew has over 20 years of experience within the IT, Data Centre and manufacturing industries, and today he focuses on identifying and developing business opportunities within new, existing and emerging markets; often working directly with global customers to help them scale into new regions quickly and efficiently. Matthew currently leads a global team dedicated to develop & grow partnerships with Design, Construction & Technology Partners in the Cloud & Colocation data centre market supporting design, innovate, build, operate & maintain needs & requirements through the data centre lifecycle. Matthew is an experienced commercial individual, who also works across the Schneider Electric organisation to influence the company’s growth strategy and its data center lifecycle offers, while helping to address new market trends and enhance customer acquisition strategies.
