Matthew Morgan

40 Years experience in in the Cyber and Security, Matthew started as a military communications expert specialising in mobile, fixed telecommunication in secure high threat environments. After leaving the forces Matthew spent 10 years working for a number of large telecommunications companies rolling out their high bandwidth networks to global customers. Matthew joined Airbus Defence and Security in 2003 where he was responsible for a number of large programmes before ultimately becoming the Chief Operating Officer for their UK business. After leaving Airbus, Matthew joined BAE Digital Intelligence where he was the Managing Director for their Global Cyber and Intelligence business. Matthew’s role for BAE Systems required him to spend lengthy periods overseas and having done this for 7 years Matthew decided to find a role back home in Wales, he became the Group Director for General Dynamics for their Bowman portfolio helping them to turn around a number of their large programmes and putting them back on track. Five years ago Matthew decided to take the role of Group Director in Amentum based in Cardiff City centre where he has responsibility for the UK and International Cyber and Intelligence business.
