Professor Aled Lloyd Owen - Chief of Staff, RAi UK, Responsible Ai UK
Aled Lloyd Owen is chief of staff at Responsible AI UK, accelerating the adoption of responsible and trustworthy AI across the public and private sectors for the benefit of all.
Aled specialises in AI policy, regulation, and implementation. A formal civil servant, he has broad experience of public use cases including policing, defence, security and healthcare. He is a former counsellor to the European Union.
He has also worked in the private sector in fdigital identity, financial services and counter-fraud. He began his career working in Welsh Government for the (then) First Minister.
