Bruce McLelland

Bruce is a connected cities specialist at InnovateUK KTN leading on urban living and clean growth challenge programmes.  Key technology drivers orientate around optimised city systems (including data management platforms), AI and 5G interventions to enrich emerging technologies and infrastructure systems integration.  From a background of energy infrastructure risk and resilience, he’s working across the UK’s industrial and R&D centres to develop innovation-centric business opportunities.  A key activity is fostering collaborative relationships to accelerate the pace of change for regional economic growth.  In addition, as part of InnovateUK’s Place Based regional operation, he’s leading on InnovateUK’s partnership with the Cardiff Capital Region City Deal.
