When and where will the event take place?
Wales Tech Week 2025 takes place from 24–26 November 2025 at the ICC Wales, Newport – one of the UK’s leading conference venues, just minutes from the M4 and accessible by rail, road, and air.

New for 2025! The 10th Wales Technology Awards will be taking place on the final evening of Wales Tech Week 2025! How do I register for Wales Tech Week?
Registration for Wales Tech Week 2025 is quick, easy, and completely free. To secure your place at the event, simply click here, fill in your details, and you’re all set. Once registered, you’ll receive confirmation by email, plus updates and important information as we get closer to the event.
Can I make a group booking for Talent4Tech?
Yes, we welcome group bookings for Talent4Tech. If you’re looking to bring a group of students or attendees, please email talent4tech@technologyconnected.net with the number of tickets you’d like to reserve, along with your organisation’s name and contact details. A member of our team will get back to you to confirm availability and next steps.
Is there a deadline to register?
You can register right up to the event, but we recommend signing up early to get first access to session schedules, speaker announcements, and key updates.
Venue and Onsite
How do I get to the ICC Wales?
- By Car: ICC Wales is easily accessible from the M4. Use postcode NP18 1HQ for your sat nav. There is ample parking available onsite.
- By Train: The nearest mainline station is Newport Station, just a 15-minute taxi ride away. Regular train services connect Newport with Cardiff, Bristol, London and more.
- By Bus: Local bus services stop nearby at The Coldra. You can plan your route using Traveline Cymru.
- By Air:
- Cardiff Airport is approximately 40 minutes away by car.
- Bristol Airport is around 50 minutes away.
- Both airports offer car hire and public transport options.
Is there parking at the venue?
The ICC Wales offers onsite parking for delegates (including EV charging points). Charges may apply – check the ICC Wales website for the latest information.
Will there be free wifi available at the venue?
Yes, there will be free wifi throughout the ICC Wales venue.
Will there be charging stations for electronic devices?
Yes, the venue has this onsite.
Is there a cloakroom available?
Yes, there will be a cloakroom available at Wales Tech Week. The event organisers understand the convenience of having a secure place to store personal belongings during the event. The cloakroom will provide a safe and monitored space where attendees can store their coats, bags, and other items, allowing you to move freely and comfortably throughout the event without the burden of carrying everything with you.
Will food and/or drink be available at the event?
Yes, there are cafes onsite as well as coffee stations within the Main Hall of the event. Grab and go catering will be available at set lunch times. Costs are determined by the venue.

How can I apply for a press pass?
We welcome members of the media to join us at Wales Tech Week 2025. Press passes provide access to keynote sessions, the exhibition floor, and media-only briefings. To apply, please email us with your name, publication, job title, and what you’d like to cover.
I’d like to interview a speaker or exhibitor – is that possible?
Yes, wherever possible, we’ll help facilitate interviews with speakers, partners, or exhibitors. Please send your request to us with the subject of your interview, preferred date, and intended media format (written, video, podcast, etc).
Can I use the Wales Tech Week logo or branding in my coverage?

Can children attend Wales Tech Week?
Wales Tech Week is primarily a professional, business-focused event, but we understand that childcare needs vary. Children under 16 are welcome to attend Talent4Tech, accompanied and supervised by a parent or guardian at all times. Outside of this, attendance for U16s is limited, but working parents who may need to bring children due to work or travel commitments should contact the event team in advance so we can help make suitable arrangements. Baby changing facilities are available on-site at ICC Wales. For any questions or to let us know you’re bringing a child, please get in touch with our team.
