Adam Thomas-Brown

Adam is an investor and advisor to early-stage businesses – focussing exclusively in Wales. After a few internships and an operational stint at a startup in University, he joined a Corporate Advisory boutique in 2019 to continue helping entrepreneurs navigate the challenges of fundraising and scaling, eventually leaving to independently advise c.20 startups from December 2021 to date.

Alongside a small Angel Portfolio, Adam’s main focus is Mentra Ventures – Wales’ first true Pre-Seed and Seed fund – launching in Q4 2023. Mentra’s core mission is to be the local investment partner Welsh Startups need at Pre-Seed and Seed
