Ben Allwright - Chief Executive Officer, Ogi
Ben is Chief Executive Officer of Ogi, Wales’s home-grown internet company. Ben joined Spectrum Fibre (Ogi) in 2020, securing cornerstone investment from leading infrastructure investors Infracapital to bring next-generation full fibre services to Wales.
With almost 30 years’ experience in the telecommunications, multimedia and IT industries, Ben joined Ogi from Teleste Corporation, a Finnish technology company, where he was Vice President of global Network Services, providing consulting, design and engineering services to leading and alternative infrastructure builders and operators. Concurrently, Ben established and led Teleste’s subsidiary, Flomatik Network Services, employing 250 people and providing the fast-moving UK fibre market with specialist services.
Ben has worked in both start-up and established settings throughout his career and is now focused on delivering the best possible alternative network choice for homes and businesses in Wales.
