David Teague

David heads up the ICO Wales team based in Cardiff. His team works with stakeholders across the country in relation to all aspects of information rights legislation, providing advice and guidance on compliance to members of the public and organisations alike. The team also proactively work with organisations to help them develop policies and processes that uphold information rights, and ensure that matters specific to Wales are reflected in the wider regulatory work of the ICO.

Before joining the ICO in 2013, David worked in IT, security and governance roles in local government and education sectors. He is a member of the Advisory Board for the Wales Cyber Resilience Centre.
