Lisa Goodwin MSc MCIPD - Head of Human Resources , General Dynamics Land Systems UK
Lisa graduated from the University of South Wales with an MSc in Human Resource Management before starting her HR career in the NHS working for the National Blood Service. She moved into industry and has worked for over 20 years in Semiconductor, Electronics and Automotive sectors for organisations such as International Rectifier, Vishay Semiconductors, Electronic Motion Systems and KSR International.
In 2021, Lisa joined General Dynamics as Head of Human Resources and heads up the busy HR team which supports GD Land Systems to attract, develop, engage and retain its talented workforce to build, deliver, and future-support the most advanced fleet of armoured fighting vehicles to the British Army. She is passionate about GD’s important role in helping to protect, equip and support the UK’s current and future soldiers operationally, as well as offering career transition opportunities for when the time is right to step away from active duty.
Outside of work, Lisa is a mum of three and loves watching them play sport – predominantly football, whilst also being involved in youth sport herself for the last 15 years coaching boy’s football.
